Yay for Christmas lights

Last night on My way back from work I saw a couple of houses decked out in Christmas light, oh man I love Christmas lights I always feel like a kid when I see them, ever since I can remember I remember Me and My family just taking a walk just to look at the houses all deck out with Christmas decorations, that's one of My favorite things about the holiday season, it just makes you so happy see all the lights and the blow up Sants and Frosty the snow mans, and when the people's window blinds are open to see Their trees (in a non-stalkerish way of course lol).

I really may not care for the President and want Him gone in 2012 but You have to give Him the credit He deserves for mentioning God in the Thanksgiving's speech, just because He didn't mention God in this week's speech doesn't mean You shouldn't give Him credit for last week (on Thanksgiving).

Lets start with My thankful list:

* First and foremost My Father in Heaven who is way too good to Me, I mean there are times I really don't deserve His love but He still bestows it on Me

* Second His son Jesus Christ for dying for us sinful people on the cross, His selfless act gave us a chance to get back to Heavenly Father

*Third, My amazing family who is healthy and has a roof over Their heads

*Fourth, A roof over Mine and My family's heads

*Fifth A great job and a wonderful child I watch and a wonderful boss

*Sixth Food and fresh water

*Seventh Transportation, even though I don't have a car I still have the bus

Well I'm finally doing it, I'm saying goodbye to dairy, which means cheese,milk,yogurt,cream cheese and other stuff that I absolutely love but it's worth it.
The reason why I am taking dairy out of My diet is because I've had IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome) since I was 4, for awhile I was able to eat anything and not have pain but just recently I would eat just a cube of cheese and I would be curled up into a ball, so I had to do something, and the rest is history.
It seems to be working, it's already day 3 and I already feel tons better.
Another advantage to taking dairy out is I read that it also helps with sinus problems (another thing I have), so it's a double duty cause.

I had to work the day of the U of O vs. USC game on Saturday, I work right by Autzen stadium and had to get there by 3:30 and had to take the bus when all of the people who were going to the game, it was craziness.
But that is so not the crazy part of the day, I was working till 9:00 that night and when I was on My way to the bus stop there was serious traffic from people leaving the game, when the traffic died down and I saw the bus and it was on time I was so thankful thinking "yes I'm not gonna be stranded at the Eugene station".
Well I work in Springfield so even though the traffic died in Springfield, the traffic was still crazy in Eugene so when I was on the bus going by Autzen, there was a traffic jam of people leaving the game going to Eugene.
That moment I was praying up a storm and texting My mother to pray for Me to get to the bus on time as well, I was so worried that I would be stranded in downtown Eugene in the cold till the morning.
Then the bus driver asks Me if I'm trying to get to a bus and I say "yes the 43" (I forgot to mention the bus I was gonna miss was the last of the night) so he calls in for the driver to hold till we get there but we were still 6 minutes away from the station and they only can hold for so long and I was just hoping that it would still be there when I got there, when we turned the corner I was dreading was I was about to see (an empty bus bay), the bus was there! I was so grateful, I'm never gonna complain about the bus again. =)
And of course I have to thank Heavenly Father for keeping Me safe and answering My prayers =)

So one of the downsides of Fall in Oregon is rain, and as much as I love living in Oregon I really can't stand the rain, granted it does keep the plants growing and the grass green (which is the reason I love Oregon) but Me (and My poor hair =() really don't like the rain.

On the positive side of Fall:

I look forward to the different colors of the leafs, I just love walking down the road and seeing the reds and yellows and golds of the trees, I've even seen pink (which is My favorite color)

Today I watched the new T.v. show All American Muslim to see what it was about and let Me just say that it definitely shows a good light on Muslim and it reminds us that not all Muslims are terrorists and are full of hatred, there is hatred in all cultures and all of us need to be reminded of that.
People also need to be reminded that ALL countries (even the middle east) was affected by the attacks on 9/11, sadly people tend to forget that because we were attacked by the middle east.
I also read that Rick Womick (a Republican from Tennessee) said that we shouldn't allow Muslims in the Military cause they "can't be trusted", that is just a good example of people lumping up a certain group of people just because of a small group of Their people is a bad egg.

Yesterday Me and My sister and brother (Ashlee and R.j.) went to go see the movie Immortals

I thought it was good but I think a person who loves and studies Greek mythology would like it better then someone (like Me) who doesn't, to Me it's like the movie Avatar it was good but I don't think I would wanna see it again.

So I don't know about anyone other then Myself but I'm getting kinda of annoyed of these occupy weirdos, yes I did support Their cause in the beginning but now all it is is people who want to cause drama for other people, if you wanna protest okay fine go ahead but please be peaceful and don't trash other people's property in the process.

And this whole "New Amendment" thing, I mean no body should able to tell someone how much money corporations can make and then have to give the rest away if you haven't earned it, I get that the economy isn't good at all and there are greedy people but nobody should be entitled to anything.

So I have become horrible at blogging, I promise that I will post more I just have been super busy.
I started a new job, I now watch a 4 year old and let Me tell you I totally forgot how crazy it is watching someone at that age, cause the last time I watched a 4 year old was when My sister and brother were 4 and that was 13 and 14 years ago so it has definitely been something fairly new.

So just thought I would update you guys on what I've been doing, but first what do you guys think of My new background? I know it's not the oink I useually do but I thought I would go with green cause I love green aswell.
So what have I been doing and why haven't been posting well our house has no internet so I'm using the library's computers, I promise I will post more, and just been working aswell.

I'm watching for the first time the Real Housewives of Miami just to give it a shot cause I'm a big fan of the Real Housewives series and let Me just say it will be the last, can you say snore fest?
I mean first off all of them are so selfish and self centered and so fake I mean oh My gosh I thought New York city was.
And secondly too many plastic body parts! one of the Housewives mother's looks so deformed it's sad.

At church yesterday I learned that today is the anniversary of the death of the first prophet of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints Joesph Smith and it got Me to thinking of how grateful I am for the first vision because if it wasn't for this amazing and righteous man who was chosen to restore the Goespel on the earth we wouldn't know the truth.
I also don't know what I would do or where I would be without the Goespel in My life and truth be told I wouldn't want to know.

I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me.

It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I bsaw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, estanding above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!

Since it's summer time I am watching Kenny at his mother's place and she has a roommate who has a 4 year old son who likes to tag alone with us when I take Kenny to the park, well the 4 year old copies everything Kenny does, it reminds me of when I was a kid and my sister would follow me everywhere dress the way I did and if I said I like/didn't like something she would say that she did/didn't as well.
It's funny too see what kids do that remind you of your own childhood =)

President Obama announced yesterday that on September 12th 2012 he will be bringing all of our men and women home from overseas because we now have to work on America.
Now I'm sure a lot of people are gonna disagree with me when I say this but it is My opinion and last time I checked this is America and the las time I check this is a free nation so here it goes, he has been in office for going on 3 years and I can only count on one finger the accomplishments he has done for this country which is giving the command to shot Bin Laden dead without trial, I mean we have basically no jobs and the money that we have is going to their vacations, at least when Bush (the second one) was in office we had a good amount of jobs, and when Clinton was in office you could walk into anywhere and say "I need a job" and you would get it on the spot, granted we had homeless but not as much as we do now, it just breaks My heart when at every corner it seems like I see someone with a sign that says "single parent out of work" or "homeless vet".
Ok thats my opinion.

Another building block to my testimony

Heavenly Father is incredible! and I know that ALL of the commandments he gives us is only to protect us and give us the blessings he wants to give us if we're obedient to ALL his commandments.

This week I got My first testimony on paying Tithing, I've never paid Tithing in the past because I didn't work cause I couldn't find work and when I did work I didn't even think of it because I didn't make that much and I just thought that I couldn't afford to do it.

After I was done with My last job I didn't know when I would work again but I had the faith that if I followed his commandments that our Father in Heaven gave us that things would be ok, so I handed in My tithing with faith, while I was in Sunday school I check My phone and there was a voice mail, it was the mother of the kid I took to school during the school year, she hired someone but that fell through and she needed someone to watch him.

I'm so grateful and I can't be thankful enough cause I know for a fact its because of the blessings we get when we pat our tithing.

Justice was served 2 days ago (well last week but it was confirmed 2 days ago) Bin Laden is dead!, in case you don't know he was shot in the head by one of our Men in uniform, I honestly didn't think that it would happen till I was atleast old and gray.
Once again our Men and Women in uniform are hero's, this is justice for the victims (and their families) of 9/11, a day we should never forget.

So while I was dropping off the kid that I watch (Kenny), I was thinking at how amazing it is that barely any streets have sidewalks anymore, it's completely crazy and mind boggling at how Our tax money doesn't go to sidewalks, I mean aren't children's safety important anymore?.
I honestly think that it should be a law to have sidewalks on ever street.
The kids walking to school,the toddlers riding their trikes..etc they all should have the safety of the sidewalk on their streets.

So I just got called to be a member of the activities committee and I'm in charge of get Hula Hoops and Jump ropes for next week's FHE (Family home evening), so I was looking online to see how much they are now since I haven't even thought of looking for the price of them, well I found Jump ropes without a hitch but when it came time for me to look for Hula hoops I found out the only store I could find they sells them are the dollar store.
Does anyone remember when it was easy to find Hula hoops? I know I do, you could find them everywhere.
